Quick Peak

Is time an issue? If your in a hurry, here are my favorite picks!

Best Overall Board Game With Questions

Here is my top choice for the best board game with questions.

I Should Have Known That

2-12 Players
Age: 14+

This is an entertaining game with trivia questions you should know. Questions like “Does the Statue of Liberty hold her torch in her right hand or left?”, “How long did Sleeping Beauty actually sleep?” or “How do you say “Japan” in Japanese?” This is the perfect game for the next time family or friends come to visit! By the end of the game everyone will have said, I should have known that!

Best Budget Board Game With Questions Under $20

Sometimes we just don’t have a lot of spare money to spend on entertainment, so I’ve found a few games under $20 that will get you the best bang for your buck!

All of Us

4-99 Players
Play Time: 30-60 minutes
Age: 12+

Answer trivia questions from different generations in this family fun game! Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z featured trivia questions are asked in the categories of movies, music, pop culture, sports, and TV. Team up to compete in a multigenerational trivia battle! The player answering the question picks which generation they want to answer. The first team to 10 points and cross the finish line wins! My family really enjoyed playing this over the last holiday together, and even some of the younger children were as able to answer some of the questions.

Know It or Blow It

4 Players
Play Time: 45 minutes
Age: 10+

Team up and take turns giving answers to your trivia question. Keep answering if you know it, but don’t blow it by giving a wrong answer! For each correct answer you get a point, keep going as long as you can, but if you get a wrong answer then you lose all your points! The further up the board you go, the harder the questions become. It may be easy to “Name the 4 Ninja Turtles” but can you” Name the first 10 performers inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame in 1986?”

Elf Trivia Quiz

Age 13+

If your a fan of the Elf movie starring Will Ferrell, then you could bring Christmas cheer to your house all year long with this game! Simple rules in which you only need to get 10 points to win! This is such a fun trivia card game all about Buddy the elf that we get out and play several times a year. This is an awesome deal for such a simple and cute little trivia game!

Best Games Under $25

If you have a little bit of spare cash for a game but still don’t want to break the bank then this is where you want to look. Kind of a middle-of-the-road category. These are the best board game with questions for under $25.

Say Anything: Family Edition

3-6 Players
Play Time: 30 minutes
Age: 8+

I’ve played this game at a friends game night and it was a lot of fun! The judge reads a question like “What would make next weekend more exciting?” or “When is the worst time to burst out laughing?” and everyone else writes down an answer. The Judge secretly chooses one of the answers and then everyone guesses what the judge picked. You get points if you guess which one the judge picked and also if your answer was the favorite. This is perfect with family friendly questions, so the entire family will be able to enjoy!

Confident?

3-99 Players
Play Time: 20-40 minutes
Age: 11+

This board game takes a normal trivia game and puts a spin on it! In this game instead of giving an exact answer, you GUESS a RANGE! The smaller the range compared to everyone else’s answer determines how many points you earn (if you guessed correctly!) All ages can participate in this family friendly game! Questions like how many teeth did the T-Rex have? Or what is the average time couples date before getting engaged in the US. This game is a huge hit at parties!

Best Board Game With Questions Under $50

If you just want to get the best quality board game with questions and cost isn’t much of a factor for you then here are the best games under $50 that you will love playing.

Wit’s End

2-6 Players

This is a really fun trivia game that will really get the blood pumping to your brain! As you travel around the game board you will be answering questions from 4 different categories. Riddle your way out of the “Teaser” category. Deduce what doesn’t belong in the “Odd1Out” category. Figure out the sequence in the “Sequence” category. In the “Wild Card” category almost anything is possible. Great party game to play with your family and friends, just don’t be driven to your Wit’s End!

Trivial Pursuit: Horror Ultimate Edition

2-99 Players
Play Time: 60 minutes
Age: 17+

From books to movies and even television shows, if its about horror then there is likely questions about it in this game! Slaughter your opponents by outsmarting them in 6 horrific categories: Gore & Disturbing, Psychological, Killer, Monster, Paranormal, and Comedy. It has a classic Trivial Pursuit game board with a horror theme including 6 spine tingling game tokens: Monster Hand, Doll Head, Straitjacket, Goat Head, Cleaver in Brain, and Table Saw to move around the board. Great game for your game night if you love horror!

Camp Board Game

2-8 Players
Play Time: 20-40 minutes
Age: 4+

What a gem of a game! This game is easily overlooked, but is a fantastic game of fun trivia about the great outdoors! This game will also “level up” as you gain more knowledge, if the level 1 questions are too easy then its time to move to a higher level question all the way up to level 4. This game is great for kids AND adults! Some of the level 4 questions are really challenging! Race around the board and the first person to make it back to camp is the winner!

The Logo Board Game

2-6 Players
Play Time: 40 minutes
Age: 12+

How well do you think you know popular brands? Move along the game board as you answer various questions about TV commercials, brand logos, dates, origins, and so much more! “Which motorcycle company uses the slogan “American by birth, Rebel by choice?”” and “What type of poultry are Butterball products?” are a few of the sample questions. I honestly thought that this would be an easy game, but some of the questions are very challenging! I love The Logo Game!

Color Brain

2-12 Players
Play Time: 30 minutes
Age: 8+

This board game is all about colors and is fun for everyone in the family! You start off by splitting into teams and then receive eleven color cards. You then answer the question card with one or more of the colors in your hand. Place them face down on the table so the other team cannot see them, and everyone flips them over at the same time and reveal the answer to the question. Get it right? Well, you don’t get any points UNLESS the other team got it wrong! Adds a fun, colorful twist to trivia games!

If your looking for some trivia games with a more “adult” theme then here is the best one!

Sometimes you don’t want to play trivia games and want questions that are more relatable on a personal level. This section is for those games!

Loaded Questions

Age: 10+

The Loaded Questions game can be really fun to play in big groups of people. One player reads a question like “What have you surprisingly never tried?” or “What is NOT a good thing to bring to show-and-tell?” Everyone writes down their answer and passes it to the person that read the question, and their are no wrong answers! The player then picks their favorite answer and then tries to guess who said each answer. The favorite answer gets to move 2 spaces on the board and the first player gets to move one space for every answer they matched up with who wrote it. It can be a blast to play!

Kids Create Absurdity

4-10 Players
Age: 7+

A great little card game for you and your children. A very child friendly card game that will have you laughing! In your hand you will have several answer cards like: Flip flops, rotten eggs, or exploding watermelons. A question card is flipped over and you try to pick your best answer card to get picked by the judge. “My school bus driver smells like ______.” Also includes random tasks cards, like “Pass this card to another player to make them cluck like a chicken!” Lots of fun, and is always a hit at our house!
